Tonight I ate dinner in a park with some homeless people that was cooked from food out of dumpsters. It was delicious! Met some interesting people too. This is the initiative of an organisation called ‘food not bombs’.

Food Not Bombs shares free vegetarian meals with the hungry in over 1000 cities around the world to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment. With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?

Next week I’m gonna give dumpster-diving a try, can’t wait. It’s crazy how much quality food goes to waste each day, it just makes sense to use it to feed the community.
